posted on December 3, 2018
A part of the park of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo is open to the general public until December 9. Visitors can walk along the 750-meter road, running from the Sakashita Gate to the Inui Gate. The road is lined with 70 Japanese maple trees and the visitors can enjoy taking pictures of autumn colors in the Palace grounds. The public must enter from the Sakashita Gate and go into a single direction toward the Inui Gate or the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. The street is open from 9am to 3pm. No reservation is required. Public access to the street is allowed twice a year during the cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons.
