  Mid-February 2024, early-blooming cherry trees celebrated the comeback of teamLab Borderless after nearly 2 year-closure of the previous Odaiba location. Their new digital art museum is located inside Tokyo’s latest landmark Azabudai Hills, that boasts Japan’s tallest skyscraper. The Japanese art collective teamLab offers over 50 immersive, interactive and attractive new and updated familiar works to DAZZLE the visitors from across the globe. teamLab Borderless has been generating buzz on social media, so remember to book as soon as possible. The tickets for upcoming dates are normally sold out on their official website, however, an opening can suddenly appear due to a cancellation, so keep an eye on their ticket availability if you want to include the visit in your preferred itinerary. 

  Before getting there, here are some tips that you might consider. Allow 3-4 hours to make the best of this super popular attraction. The venue is huge and there are many rooms with different sizes. Some are difficult to find because it is generally dark inside. Move slowly and be mindful of your steps and surroundings. Prefer to dress in white or light-colored clothes to avoid someone bumping into you or to get better reflections of the lights on them. Use the lockers in front of the entrance to store your jacket/coat or the items that you don’t use during the visit, and bring your camera/smartphone and valuables with you in the venue. The museum is easily accessed by subway. Only a few-minute walk from the nearby Kamiya-cho station (exit 5).
